“This spring, Lotus Boards was a part of the Bronco Startup Challenge, a business plan competition at Cal Poly Pomona University. Out of the 40+ original contestants 10 finalists, including Lotus, were chosen. These finalists were required to give a two minute pitch to a panel of judges made up of professors and investors from the greater Los Angeles region for the chance to win a part of the $11,000 in prizes. There were a lot of great ideas but Lotus Boards was able to take first place coming away with the grand prize of $4,000!

This was a great experience for the company and our cause. As a result we were able to come in contact with many cool people and related brands. This further shows that the hemp revolution is real. THe more people are aware of the benefits they will jump on board. This competition has opened up many opportunities and is just the beginning of our development! “
